How to respect the Messengers of Allah?

Every nation has treated its Prophets in their own unique manner. Some hurt them and some revered them:

Narrated ‘Abdullah:

As if I saw the Prophet talking about one of the prophets whose nation had beaten him and caused him to bleed, while he was cleaning the blood off his face and saying, “O Allah! Forgive my nation, for they have no knowledge.”

It is the command of Allah in the Quran to send salaams on Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him/ Even the thought of any thing disrespectful is abhorrent. However those who have a history of doing the above to their own Messengers do not fail to do it to the Messengers that followed.

May Allah’s wrath fall on them.

  1. subhanAllah very appropriate and timely post. If we, as muslims, were living rasulallah’s (pbuh) teachings, no one would dare say such things. We just love him (pbuh) sooo much but sadly not enough to just follow his (pbuh) footsteps blindly.
