Today was a historic day in many ways……..This is the fifth year of our weekly halaqa at the mosque in reviewing tafseer. We completed Surah Al Imran today. It was a roller coaster ride through the courage of Mariam AS mother, the war of Uhud, the pain and anguish after the disobedience of the Rasool pbuh and the gift of “collective sabr”
Very few of the women who started on day one were here today, it was a moment of beauty with all the duas in the surah and all the lessons tailored for each one of us.
