Understanding the dua in Jumma……

 

Here is the last dua recited before we get up for iqama on Friday……….Beautiful meaning………..

chosen by Umar bin Abdul Aziz the caliph to be recited at the end of the Jumma Khutbah. He was a man who lived without ostentation and who practiced tazkiyah in his daily life.

 

 

۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأۡمُرُ بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَٱلۡإِحۡسَـٰنِ وَإِيتَآىِٕ ذِى ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَيَنۡهَىٰ عَنِ ٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِ وَٱلۡمُنڪَرِ وَٱلۡبَغۡىِ‌ۚ يَعِظُكُمۡ لَعَلَّڪُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ (٩٠)

Sahih International

Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded.
