Just Relax…………

When does a muslim relax?

Here is a story:

It’s the story of one of the great Imams of this Ummah, Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal.

His son, Abdullah, asked his father one day: “Abi when will we ever relax?” His father, one of the greatest revivers of the Sunnah and a role model for all Muslims, looked him in the eye and said:

“With the first step we take into Jannah.”

    • ASA Brother Rahman,
The etiquette of addressing another muslim should not depart even if it is a brief sentence in a blog post comment. Prophet Muhammad pbuh showed us how to respectfully differ, suggest a change or help a fellow muslim understand ones point of view.
Please stand in front of the mirror and repeat your sentence to yourself and evaluate if you fulfilled the Khuluq (etiquette) of a muslim.

      • SALAAM TO ALL,
I think my dear readers, your imagination regarding the last picture of a man on the beach was running a mock, so I have replaced it.
It is Ramadan and I do not wish to weaken your emaan by a picture, nor mine.
        JazaikAllah hu Khairan.
Inshallah this picture still conveys the message?

    • Asalaam alaikum, sister US,
The point of this picture is to show you how most of us atleast those of us who live near a coast relax or dream of relaxing.

      • I am not a sister 🙂

Also, the picture is in direct contradiction to the teachings of Islam that you are quoting below the picture. One is Haram, the other is the Sirat Al-Mustaqeem. Sometime it is better not to post picture. Please ponder over this!!

What message you are trying to convey from the words and what message are you conveying from the Picture.

A Picture speaks louder than the words!! That is what the Communication PHDs say!

        Wassalam

I apologize for addressing you as sister, I should have known by your name.
as far as contrasts, sometimes they are the best way to teach a fact.
