23:97-98 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, (97)
And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me, (98)
Hazarat Jabeer relates that RasoolAllah said:
Shaitaan comes to you in every work and every state and interferes in it and suggests evil acts and wrong acts in your work and condition.
Thus it is best not to have an idle mind, but keep it filled with Dhikr to ward off the suggestions of Shaitaan.
This ayah is for a dawaat, (to invite people to Allah’s message) when he talks about his Deen, he will meet resistance, ridicule and discouragement and at this time one should occupy himself with Dhikr for then Shaytaan runs away.
