Today is Tariq’s Birthday, I have no words. My peace of mind and heart comes from turning to Dhikr asking Him, Subhanawtaala to protect me from the pain, and thank him for doing so and humbly accept with thanks all the naimah he gives me and verbally acknowledge the forgiveness he continues to award me for my mistakes in my efforts to make my way towards Him Subhanawataala.

DHIKR: DO’S AND DONT’S
Be in dhikr of Allah “katheera”.
Allah Subhnana wataaala says In surah al jumuah: (62:10) : Andwhen the prayer is finished, then disperse through the land and seek the bounty of Allah, and be in dhikr of Allah in plenty”
“Wala dhikrullahil Akbar,” Allah also says in the Quran – the dhikr of
Allah is better than any other activity. Allah enjoins upon us to be
in frequent dhikr, not only sometimes o occasionally. Everytime dhikr
is mentioned in the Quran, “katheera” is also mentioned. Of the
characteristics of the munafiqoon is that they are only in dhikr
“sometimes”, and that they stand lazy and in a hurry to leave when in
Disengage from concerns of dunya during dhikr. Even legitimate ones.
If changes inside you are positive, you are walking in the right
direction. If not, first you need to stop, before you can turn around and
walk in the right direction. (i.e., tawbah before restarting the
Beauty in the qalb = good akhlaaq. We need to graduate away from our bad traits.
Nothing is more worthy than being in dhikr.
The one who loves the encounter with Allah, Allah loves the encounter with Him.
Ultimately this deen is about akhlaq and ikhlas – otherwise what we do
is very superficial. Islam and iman are in one’s heart and require the
heart to be in surrender.
